HASTINGS SUB UNION. The sub union met last night, Father G. Alahoney presiding. Alessrs AVilliams, Brown, and Prouse were present, as Napier delegates. Te Ante protested aganiC.T the result of the match Te Ante v. M.A.C. (thirds) played last Saturday, owing to the short time played. It was decided to replay the match, at the end of the first round. The protest of the Hastings juniors, against the result of the match Havelock v. Hastings (juniors), played las’. Saturday week, was' dismissed, after hearing the explanation made by the referee. SATURDAY’S REFEREE” The following referees hate been appointed to control next Saturday’s play:— SENIOR. Te Ante v. Hastings—Nelson Cricket ground, No. 1, 2.45 p.m.. Air. W. Gooseman. JUNIOR. Waimarama y. Pirates.— Nelson cricket ground, No. 2, 3 p.m. Air. W. O’Neill. Havelock North v. H.S.O.B.—Havelock North, 3 p.m. Air. AV. Speers. THIRD GRADE. Te Aute v. H. School—Nelson cricket ground, No. 2, 1.30. AI.A.C. v. Hastings —Nelson cricket ground, No. 1, 1.30. Mr. A. Alderman.
