ENGLISH TENNIS PLAYERS.

ARRIVAL IN WELLINGTON.

Wellington, March 16. The English tennis players who were to have been accorded a civic reception at Christchurch to-day, arrived at Wellington by the Moeraki last night, too jate to proceed to the south. Landing at the Wellington wharf at 9.30 p.m. they were rner by Mr. 11. M. Gore, president of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association. Mr. J. C. Peacock, one of their opponents, was also fit the wharf with other members of the association. The English players to Christchurch by the Moeraki this evening.
