SOUTH AFRICAN ELECTIONS.
RE-UNION OF DUTCH PARTIES ALTERNATIVE TO ANOTHER CONTEST. Capetown, March 13 The final election results are nw expected till next week, but the iclative position of the parties is not likely- to be altered.
An analysis of voting shows that about 34 per cent, voted Nationalist. The indecisive result will undoubtedly strengthen the agitation for the re-union of the tw r o Dutch parties. It- is significant that the Nationalist organs are already urging this policy, which the Government organ at Pretoria endorses, the only- alternative being, Jt says, another election.—(A. and N.Z.)
