SUGAR BEET INDUSTRY.
ALL-BRITISH ENTERPRISI London. March 12. The Home Grown Sugar Company Limited with one million one pound shares lias been formed under an arrangement with the Board of Agriculture to establish the sugarbeet- industry. As it is an all-British enterprise the Government will take up a quarter of a million shares, and also guarantee live per cent, interest until 1930 on public subscriptions up to a quarter of a million. The com pauv takes over the British Sugarbeet Growers’ Societv.—(A. and N.Z.)
