NOTICES. I INFLUENZA. ADVICE TO PUBLIC. INFLUENZA is prevalent in mild form in some parts of the country J the public are earnestly requested to take the following precautions:— 1. To avoid congregating in public | places, especially picture theatres and hotel bars. 2. To ventilate houses as freely as possible. J. To report at once to Health Department or Hospital Board any cases of influenza or suspicious sickness. 4. To use any simple preventative, such as gargles, or nasal ointment, morning and evening. 5. To do this it is urgently necessary we should have NURSES, Capable, but not neces'sarily skilled. Minimum Wages, 10/- per day.OFFERS OF ASSISTANCE IN THIS DIRECTION ARE VERY NECESSARY, AND ARE EARNESTLY SOLICITED. The Committee also desire the assistance of ORDERLIES and offers of the use of eMOTOR-CARS, in case an Emergency Hospital has to be established ; but if we can get NURSING HELP this might be avoided.
