ORDINARY MEETING. A meeting was held in Napier this morning, Mr. G. R. Beamish ingThe Marlborough M oolgrowers Committee forwarded extracts from the “Pastoral Review” protesting against the “draft on wool” impost. —it was decided to support the abolition of the imposition. The Fallen Soldiers’ Memorial Committee of Hastings approached the society for support. —It was decided that the society take no action, it eing pointed out that members would probably be called upon to subscribe privately. The Department of Agriculture forwarded regulations concerning the appointment of eight inrmben. four from each island, to the *Board of Agriculture.— It was decided to nominate Mr. E. a Averill, who has represented Hawke's Bay since the inception of the board. Delegates to attend the conference to deal with the appointment of the Hawke's Bay representative were appointed as follows:—Messrs. G. R. Beamish. N. Kettle, H. Gascoigne, and A. McLean. The conference will be held in Napier on February 20th. It was decided that the next Spring Show be held on the third Wednesday and Thursday in October. A vote of thanks was accorded to the Wellington Fruit Brokers’ Association for a don ation of £lO 10, - to the priez fund.
