HURT DANIEL S PRIDE. Washington. Feb. 3. Mr. Josephus Daniels (Secretary to the Navy) hotly repudiated Admiral Sims’ allegations that the United States Navy was merely acting as motor lorries to the AngloFrench fleet and not participating in actual fighting. Admiral Sims’ own records showed that- attacks were made on submarines and other enemy craft.
