TARANAKI J.C. MEETING. FIRST DAY. New Plymouth, Feb. 4. Fur the first day of the Taranaki Jockey Club’s Autumn Meeting the weather was fine and the attendance large. The course was in good order, and the totalisator handled £32,343, compared with £26,541 10/- last year, an increase of £5BOl 10/-. Following arc the concluding results:— Cup.—Surveyor 1, Karo 2, Bon-1 netter 3. Also ran: Volo, Hurry! Up, Old Gold. Bonnetter led to the home turn, where Surveyor went to the front and won by a good length. Time, 2.9 1-5. Moturoa Electric Hack.— Flying Master 1, Valencia 2, Quirino 3. Also ran: Kiko Kiko, Encircle, Master Curran, Cleeve, Princess Ora, Viviarani, Alice Montrose, Reke, Kellee, Stelpaul, Gray Gown. Won by three lengths, third three lengths off. Time, 1.3 25-.
