FIRE AT WELLINGTON.
CENTRAL CLUB DAMAGED. Wellington, Feb. 4.. At a few minutes after four this morning, a fire was discovered in the Central Club, and had a strong hold when the brigade arrived. It was only extinguished after two hours work. The damage to building and contents is very extensive, but the library, billiard and dining-rooms were saved. The origin of the fire is not known. Insurances totalled £4OOO.
