N.S.W. STATE ORCHESTRA.
Hastings is to be favoured, with a visit on Tuesday, January 20th, of the famous New South Wales State Orchestra. The orchestra, which numbers 80. > picked players, is under the personal conductorship of Henri Verbrugghen, the famous Belgian violinist, the assistant conductor being Alfred Hill, well known in New Zealand musical circles. All intending patrons are advised that the box plan is now open at Don’s Music Store and that country patrons may book by letter, cheques to be en- ) closed. Lovers of music will do well to I get in early and secure seats.
