Alice Joyce, the popnlar actress, was the heroine, and her portrayal of the character of the mother who banished her love for her child and then retrained it when her off- I sprinat was stolen, was a verv fine one. The drama i« brimful of pat hod and intense heart interest, as well as many beautiful scenes, and on Saturday eveninc won hic-h appreciation from the laree audience. The two •’stars" were splendidly supported with other choice pictures, and Evervhodv’s Orchestra kept up its hi ch reputation in the rendering of first-class music.
