BAD MOTOR SMASH.

FIVE PERSONS INJURED. Invercargill, Jan. 2. A serious motor smash occurred at Wallacetown yesterday at an intersection of roads. Cars travelling at about 25 miles an hour collided, one being-turned over three or four times. . Five occupants were injured and to the hospital. Eileen Fitzpatrick, aged four years, has a fractured skull, Miss McArthur, aged 20, a fractured collarbone, J. Purdie, a broken leg, J. Cole, a dislocated arm and J. H. Tliomas injuries to the back and shoulders. The condition of the girl is serious, but the others are in no danger.
