Prices for merino combings fully maintained their high level. Faulty sorts, especially carbonising sorts, attracted French and Belgian buyers, and prices advanced ten per cent, compared with last series. Fino crossbreds fully maintained the last series’ rates, and medium strengthened during the series, < losing about equal to late rates. Low and coarse crossbreds were irregular, and prices on many occasions favoured buveis. Shabby lots declined ten per cent. Scoureds" and slipes were in good demand except low grades. 'len thousand bales of sheep skins were offered to-day, and all sold at fully equal prices to May rates. SHARES.
