A general meeting of the above society was held at Napier this morn, ing, Mr. G. R. Beamish presiding. In connection with a resolution forwarded to the Acting-Premier urging immediate relief to the freezing companies, the. Minister, in a letter to the society, stated that the requiremnts of Haw ke's Bay would he considered when steamers were available.—Received. Mr. Colin Diinkley was thanked for a donation of £T for a prize for drawing in tlm schools’ section of the schedule. The president, vice-president, Mr. H. A. Russell, Mr. B. Chambers and tho secretary were appointed delegates to the New Zealand Council of Agriculturists conference. The same gentlemen were appointed to receive and' draft remits for the conference. Tlie dates for the Spring Show were fixed tor lath and Jfitli October The date of the annual meeting was fixed f.>r .lune ‘-bird. The report of the Revision Committee adopted, the principal recommendation twing the decision to award the full prize money in all classes whether there was competition or not. Accounts amounting to £■> 19 ti were passed for payment.
