MILITARY OPERATIONS. Odessa, March 19. The Bolsheviks are reported to have defeated the non-Bolsheviks. The latter retired towards the city. East of Odessa the Greeks have defeated the Bolsheviks in the Kherson neighbourhood. London, March 19. A British North Russia official communique states that a Bolshevik attack on Norzhegorskaia, 130 miles southward of Archangel, was repulsed. The enemy left forty-seven dead and many wounded. Wireless reports from Russia saj the Reds defeated General Deniken's and General Petlora’s troops, who made great efforts to cover the complete evacuation of Odessa. -M. Miliukoff, in a letter to the newspapers, says the evacuation is a catastrophe, and brings Bolshevism much closer to the centres of, international communication. — (A. and N.Z.) (Received 21, 9.2 V a.m.) Copenhagen, March 19. The Polish Parliament decided, amidst enthusiasm, to mobilise five' classes of troops to cheek Bolshev-l ism. The Poles drove out the Bolshevists from Pinsk.— (A. and N.Z.) EASTERN SIBERIA. ANTI-AMERICAN FEELING. (Received 21, 10.30 a.m.) Washington, March 20. Anti-American feeling in Eastern Siberia is pronounced because Arne, ricans upheld the Russians against the Bolsheviks.
