GRANTS USE OF THE SCHELDT. (Received 7, 9.20 a.m.) Amsterdam, Jan. 6. Holland has not only agreed to the use of the Scheldt for the provisioning of the British Army, but has also decided to allow British troops to return via the Scheldt, preparatory to demobilisation, provided they do no not carry arms or ammunition. Permission must not be accepted as a. precedent. Transports must flv the commercial flag. —(A. and N.Z.)
