WIFE DISAPPEARS.
Taumarunui, Dec. 4. Kathleen Murray, wife of J. Murray, farmer, Walton, staying with her husband at Meredith House, left the bedroom between one and two o’clock on Sunday’ morning. Th husband wakened in the morning and found his wife missing. A searcfi party was immediately organised, and searched the banks of the Ongarue and Wanganui rivers with no result. The missing woman had been in ill-health for some time. She left in a grey costume, but with no hat or boots. She took a pound note from a handbag, and left one pound in silver. Parties are still searching.
