FEDERATED SEAMEN.
FAVOUR ONE BIG UNION. Wellington, Dee. 5. (The ballot taken among the Federated Seamens’ Union of NewZealand resulted in favour of Che formation of local unions at Wellington, Auckland, and Dunedin into one big union, which will officiate with the Transport Workers’ Advisory Board of the New Zealand Labour party. The voting was For one big union 966. Against 141. For affiliating with the Transport Workers Board 861. Against 220. For affiliating with the Labour Party 870. Against 212.
