NAPIER HIDE SALE. The periodical sale of hides, tallow, and sundries was held in Messrs. Williams aud Kettle’s rooms yesterday. Tho following prices were realised: — l Hides.—Butcher ox, Hid to 12d; , butcher cow, 10’>d to 1,0 6-8 d ; country j ox, 9d to KW; country cow, BJd to ; 9Jd; country ox cut, 8d to Bfd; country cow cut, 8d to 8 4-8 d; country ox slippy, 6d to 7 4-8 d; inferior and damaged, 7 4-8 d ; dry hides, 6d to lOd; yearlings, 9d to lid; yearlings cut, 7 6-8 d to 9 4-8; yearlings slippy, 6 6-8 d to 7d; bull, 37s 6d each; calfskins lOd to lojd ; calfskins cut, 9d to 14gd; calfskins dry, 7d to 13d. Horse Hides.—Gs 6d to 9s each; horse hides, cut, 5s to 7s 6d each. Tallow. —Casks, rendered, 3d; tins, 1 6-8 d to 26-8 d; drums, rendered, 24-8 d ; bags, rough, 1 2-8 d to 1 4-Bd. Sundries. —Horseha'*'. 8 4-8 d to 9 4-Bd.
