In the Arbitration Court in the claim of the Australian Institute of Marine Engineers against the ship- | pin.g companies the court awarded wages ranging from chief £23 to £42 second £2l to £2>, third £l9 to £24, fourth £l6 10 - to £2l, fifth £l5 10/-, according to steamer's horse-power.
