According to New Zealand tobaccomercl'.ant.s. stocks of imported weed are running very low throughout the Dominion, and a further rise in the price can only be a question of time. Fortunately, this country is no longer eutirelv dependent on imported tobaccos. The'N.Z. grown article is becoming imcreasingly popular, and one of the reasons is doubtlessly its small percentage of nicotine —only 11% as against 4% in imported brands.
