SUPERANNUATION FUND.

AMENDED REGULATIONS. Wellington, Aug. 16. Amended regulations have been gazetted regarding the contributions to the Superannuation Fund by officers in ttie service who have to go on sick leave, state, among other tningis, that (a) Contributors whose salaries’ are temporarily stopped shall, for the first three months contribute at the ordinary rate and for the balance of the period at one-third such rate, and thereafter at the ordinary rate. (b) Officers shall cease to contribute to the fund while their salary is stopped and thereafter will contribute to way of reduction from salary. An additional amount is to be provided in the event of retirement or the death of any contributor who is elected to come under paragraph (b). The arrears shall be deducted from the allowances payable out of die fund on account of the retirement or death of such contributor.
