The “Sunday Times” states that the Spanish Cabinet is virtually sending an ultimatum to Germany demanding the latter to fully respect Spain’s neutrality.—(A. and N.Z.) I (Received 12, 9.0 a.m.) I Amsterdam, Aug. 11. A German courtmartial at Brussels sentenced to fifteen years’ hard labour three prominent Belgians accused of participating in the publication of a secret newspaper, “Libre Belgique,” which the German authorities were vainlv trying to suppress for many months. The paper reappeared the day after the sentences were announced and a was s cret’y depos : ted on Von Falkenhausen’s (Governor-General) table.—(A. and N.Z.) ; CZECHS SHOT IN AUSTRIA. The “Arbeiter Zeitung’s” Vienna correspond'-nt says that seventy-four Czech soldiers were shot on July 29th for high treason and an attempt against an armed force of the State. (A and N.Z.)
