Being more cleanly in application and more curative, it is recommended in preference to poultices, medicated plasters, or chillie paste. RED POD WOOL possesses warmth and heat producing properties which act upon the circulation, thereby relieving inflammation and congestion. RHEUMATISM (muscular), Gout, Neuritis, Pleurisy, Bronchitis and Chest Complaints may be treated with excel-1 lent results. Tn cases of Rheumatism around the joints or muscles, cover the painful parts, binding the wool by means of butter muslin or thin flannel; but prior to applying the wool moisten the surface with water, Eau de Cologne or Vinegar; this moistening allows the curative properties to be given off more quickly. Gout, Pleurisy, Bronchitis and Acute Pains in the Stomach or Abdomen are treated in the same way. In acute cases foment the painful parts with hot water before applying the wool.
