Wellington, Nov. 28The Chamber of'Commerce Conference to-day decided that the Government, be again urged to amend the Bankruptcy Act by giving effect to the recommendations of previous conferences, also it was resolved that in fhe next amending Tariff Bill provision be made for the removal of disabilities upon New Zealand shipbuilders under existing regulations, as compared with those' of the Australian tariff. It was further reaffirmed that passed in previous years in favour of reciprocal trading relations ‘tetween all parts of the British Empire with Allied countries for the favourable treatment of neutral countries.
