THE AIR RAIDS.

Premier Promises Reprisals The Huns Will Get it all Back. [PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT.] [UNITED SIR VICE.] London, October 3. Mr. Lloyd George and Lord French toured the damaged area of London. Standing in the doorway of a cottage where four youths had been killed, Mr. Lloyd George’s Celtic temperament found vent. Turning to the crowd of people he shouted, “ We will give it them all back. We will give them hell, and give it them soon.” The crowd cheered him. After visiting the worst bombed district in London, Dr. Addison, late Minister of Munitions, and Major-General Lloyd, Director of the London Defences, convened a meeting.

Dr. Addison re-assured the citizens concerning air raids. He said they had already mastered the submarine ruthlessness. I hey were doing especially well lately. He believed they would soon achieve a similar supremacy of the air over the enemy’s country as well as over ours. The defences of London had advanced enormously during the week. At General Lloyd’s suggestion, a resolution in favour of reprisals by way of air raids on Germany was adopted.
