The friends of Mr J. R. Redstone, of Gisborne,. who has been very dangerously ill, will be pleased to learn that he is making a good recovery. Mr and Mrs Farquhar Young, of Wellington, arrived in Napier last evening, and will take part in the Scotch concert to be held in . the Municipal Theatre, Napier, to-night. Messrs W. W. Fordham, C. Durie and K. Rrummond of the South are among the visitors to Napier. Mr and Mrs Arthur Spademan, of Napier, have returned after an extended visit to Christchurch. Mr and Mrs George Shand, have taken Mr Angus Russells residence in Fitzroy Road, Napier. Mr Shand he recently arrived from Wellington to take over the management of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd., at Napier.
