HASTINGS. FRIDAY?~juNE 6. (Before Mr. J. W. Boynton, sAf.) Lawrence B. Lorigan, charged with riding a bicycle on the footpath jin Southampton street, was convicted and fined 30/- and costs 7/-. Leonard Connolly, charged with driving a vehicle round the corner of Heretaunga and Market street on the wrong side of the road, was convicted and fined 20/ and costs 7/-. The. Health Inspector (Mr. F. B. Gardner) proceeded against William Young and F. E. Evans for selling milk adulterated with water. Mr. Parkinson, for defendant, objected to the case being heard as the statutory’ time had not elapsed under the Act. The objection was upfield. A boy, aged 14 charged with boarding a train whilst in motion, was convicted and discharged. Another boy, aged 13, on a charge of i breaking a pane of glass, the pro- | perty of Alfred H. Henderson, was | convicted and discharged and or- ’ dered to pay the cost of the glass. | A third youngster, aged 12, was ’ charged with throwing stones in I Riverslea road to the danger of per'sons and property, and was convicted and discharged.
