NAVY LEAGUE FUND. QRAND 88 PRIZES. £lOOO FOR 1/WIN VALUABLE SECTIONS IN THE WINTERLESS NORTH. The Kaitaia Patriotic Committee, recognising the deep debt of gratitude that this Dominion owes to the British Navy, decided to organise a Monster Art Union in order to raise a large sum to benefit this fund. I The Committee was successful in ob- ! ,taining ,as free gifts, a number of valuable sections in the most thriving township in the Winterless North, Kaitaia, and in addition a number of other prizes (see tickets). Remember the wives, children, and men of the Royal Navy. Surely it is a small thing to buy a few tickets. The Prizes are approximately value as estimated on tickets, and the Art Union I will be publicly drawn in Auckland Town Hall on AUGUST Ist, 1917. Ten per cent, of the proceeds will be allotted to the New Zealand Commercial Travellers’ Association to be donated by that association to any patriotic cause they may select. We ask yon to make a special effort to help and co-operate in so noble a cause. Ten Thousand Pounds can easily be raised. This will be of incalculable value to the fund. E. J.
