Time 3.28 4-5. A REMINDER. Nominations for the Wairoa County Racing Club’s annual meeting close with the secretary, Mr L. Storey, to-night at 10 o’clock. The nice sum of £l4OO will be distributed in stake money during the two days, so there is every inducement to owners of good handicap horses to patronise the meeting. FOOTBALL. NEW ZEALAND v. WALES. London, Dec. 27. In a Rugby game ,at Swansea, Wales and the New Zealanders tied with 6 all. It was a keen forward game. Bancroft for Wales kicked! a splendid goal, Morris equalising with a try. O’Brien with a fine penalty goal gave New Zealand the lead. The game was strenuous in the second half. Bancroft was injured. Walters by a try equalise ! the scores near the finish.
