PALMERSTON SHOW.
Entries have finally closed for this event, and come well up to expectations, being about the same as last year. In view of the scarcity of labour caused through the great numbers who have enlisted, this is rather remarkable, and indicates, to those familiar with the situation, great sacrifice and inconvenience on the part of exhibitors im order to keep the Shows going. Preparations are almost complete and exhibits are already arriving. Should the weather be favourable next week, another highly successful event may be anticipated.
