Dannevirke, Oct. 19. The charred remains of Henry Wilson aged 80 years, were found at Takapau in the ashes of a hut that was destroyed by fire on Wednesday night. A FARMER KILLED.
Gisborne, Oct. 19
Frank Harrison, aged 50 years, was killed yesterday afternoon at AVaipero Bay through his dray capsizing on top of him and breaking his back.
DEATH UNDER CHLOROFORM.
AVellington, Oct. 19. Henry 7 Hockbridge, a married man, died in hospital while under chloroform preparatory to an operation. Efforts to restore him by artificial respiration failed.
