Notice is hereby given that the i Ha stings Borough Council will, at . an Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held on Thursday, 26th October, 1916. make and levy the following Rates on all rateable values (upon the basis of the Unimproved Value) appearing in the Valuation Roll of the Borough for the year commencing on the Ist day of April. 1916, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1917, namely: — 1. A GENERAL RATE for the J general purposes of the Borough of one and seven-eighths of a penny in the pound, to be made and levied under -Section 78 of “The Municipal Corporations Act. 1908” ... Ijd 2. A LIBRARY RATE of seven one hundred and twentieths of a penny in the pound, to be ntade and levied under e Section DO of “The Municipal ► Corporations Act, 1908”. . .. 7-120 d !> 3. SPECIAL RATES, being portions of annually recurring Rates, zo be made and levied under the authority of “The Municipal Corporations Act. 1908,” “ The Local Bodies'
