PRESBYTERIAN CHAPLAIN FUND
CONCERT A concbrt in aid of the Presbyterian Chaplain Fund whs. held in St. Andrew”s" Hall, Hastings, on Tuesday evening, and proved most successful. There was a crowded audience, and the programme submitted was most enjoyable. Sweets and flowers were also sold during the evening, and the fund will be considerabty augniented by the proceeds. Following was the programme, each item being creditably rendered : Part I.: Overture, orchestra (Misses Monteith, A. Brown, and Messrs. Kitchen, Christie, Morgan, Lascelles, and E. Marbrook); song, Miss Corbin; pianoforte solo, Miss E. Bennett; song, Miss Murra; recitation, Miss. E. Batterham ; song, Miss McG’orkindale ; song, Mr. Lee ; -^i ss Smyrk; monologue, Mr., McCorkindale ; song, Bible Class aprls ; selection, orchestra. Part II.: Selection, orchestra ; pianoforte solo, Miss McKeesick; song, Mr. F. Thomas; song, Miss G. Gray j violin P- Briasco; recitation, Mrs. G. Hartshorn; song, Miss rowlre ; pianoforte duet, Misses M. and E. Thompson ; song, Bible Class girls.
