Since the Sailors’ Dependants’ fund was opened in the Tribune the Chinese in Hastings have contributed in small sums a total of £24 6/6. They are not behindhand in realising what they owe to the British Empire and to the Grand Fleet which is the mainstay of civilisatin in all parts of the Empire.
