DRUNK AND RESISTING ARREST. Levin. Aug. 9. In the S.AL Court- this mm-n'ng, T Cameron, a. member <>!' t'.ie expeditionary forces, R. Cameron and H. AlacDonald. appeared before Air J. C. Remington. S.AL. .-rd Air. Goldsmith. J’s P., charged with as Faulting the police, resisting the police, and damaging police uniforms. I. Cameron was arrested for being drunk on Saturday night with R. Cameron and AlacDonald, both of whom attempted to rescue him. Constable Bag tie was tripped up. struck, and kicked. Constable Treggan was struck on the face and received a (’ut necessitating several stitches.

Cameron, for resisting arrest was convicted and discharged, and for assaulting the police he was fined £j, an ordered to pay medical fee £1 U-. R. Cameron, for assault on tbe police, was fined £2O and ordered to pay 10 - damage to police overcoat, and was convicted and dischargee! for resisting the police. H. AlacDonald was fined £lO, for assault on the police, was ordered to pay 9 6 damage to police helmet and was convicted and discharge! for obstructing tbe police in the execution of duty. The Justices said such disturbances must be put down.
