OFFICIAL. —An Italian airship on Thursday night successfully bombarded Pola, but on returning fell into the sea for some reason unknown. The Austrians rescued and took prisoner tiie crew. Our airship effectively bombarded the railway at Opicina, a few miles north of Trieste. It was attacked by an Austrian seaplane, which dropped three incendiary bombs fruitlessly.. The airship’s guns drove off the seaplane. Another airship despite a cannonade bombarded the enemy’s camp at Doberdo, north of Monfalcone. Both returned safely. THE AUSTRIAN VERSION.
