BUNCE AND TIPS ABOLISHED

In th<’ new agreement the I cuerated Marine Stewards and Pantrymen's Association of Australasia are seeking with the' Steamship Owners’ Association, they propose to abolish tips by the insertion of a new clause which will provide that no member of the association will be allowed to accept any bunee or tips under a penalty of for the tir.st offence ,to. for the second offence £lO. and for the third expulsion troni the association. The members consider the acceptance of tipis is degrading and prefer a fi.xed standard of wages.
