The revenue returns show that Post Office expenditure exceeded revenue by £623.275. Commonwealth notes circulated totalled £32.500,0(10, against which there is a gal I reserve of £11,939.000. The expenditure on Old Age and Invalid Pensions for rhe year was £3,394.000.
