The quantity of wreckage found at j Ten Mile has been recognised by the {local agent as belonging to the | steamer Kairaki. 181 tons. Two life- ■ | bunts bearing the name Kairaki i ; were also washed ashore. She wasdue here to-day fioin Wellington. I Search parties have gone out with! the endeavour to find some trace ol’l the ship and crew, but so far no news of the latter is to hand.
