The crew were landed at Santos on the eoast of Brazil, about 2W miles south of Rio de Janicro. jThe Kron Prinz Wilhelm is probably the 15.G*)0 ton liner owned by the Norddeutscher Lloyd. She was built in 1901 and is now acting as an armed cruiser. She was reported to

have been captured by the cruiser Eses in the early stages of the war but the report was afterwards denied.] [The Indian Prince was an iron steamer of 1912 tons, btiilr in 1893 by Messrs. The principal officers of the German administration were absent. Four officers and 13 others surrendered and subscribed the oath of neutrality. These officials will be temporarily engaged to assist in idministraticn. Others are planters, aiissioriaries. and business men. Forty German fighting men left a fortnight ago for the purpose of reinforcing German troops at New Britain but arrived after its capitu‘ation. They are now prisoners at Simpsonhaven.
