ALLEGED MISI NDEALSTANDING 'Wellington. Sept. 25. In explanation of the resolution passed at a recent meeting al HiuUly requesting the president (Mr. >S. Dixon) anil the members of th- executive to resign, Mr. J. Robertson. M.P., informed a Times” representative iliat there had been a gnat deal of misapprehension of the facts. It appeals that the executive of Lite union was added to the luunily Town Board Committee to deal with the distribution of the relief funds. On the grounds Lhstc these men were not elected by the Miners" Union as it exists to-day. and were not therefore representative of th.- miners Mr. Robertson, in common with others, considered that the men should resign and submit themselves for re-election.
