ORMONDVILLE.

[own correspondent.] Keen interest was taken in the Ormondville ’town Board election which took place on Wednesday. Twelve candidates stood for the five vacancies and the following are the results of the poll:—J- I'itzgeraid 73, T. Fothergill 59, N. Nikolaisen 57, H. J. New.ing 55, B. Groom 48, H. Benbow 36, F. W. Redvvard 18, T. G. Smith 18, W. Price 9, B. A. Hegh 8, AV. Hardy 7. N. J. Parker 7. The first five mentioned constitute the new board. Two of the retiring members. Messrs. Benbow anti Smith were defeated wliilst the. other three retiring members, Messrs. Fitzgerald. Newling and Nikolaisen were returned. Messrs. Fothergill and Groom are the new members on the board.
