Auckland. Sept. 24. The Fai.burn. an auxiliary schooner of 95 tons, laden with a cargo of bricks, is ashore on Opotiki bar. She was entering the harbour when the wind and tide carried her on the beach. She was carried high up on the shingle. from whence she will have to be dug out when the weather moderates.
