He was apparent- ; ly trying to cross the railway line at | Belmont, and did not notice an ap- i proaching train, the engine of which < knocked him down, crushing Ins , tight side. Mr. Kilmister was 67 I years of age. and married. j Dunedin. Sept. 22. t The police have- received word ; that a body, supposed to be that of I Mr. Appleby. schoolmaster, at i Lovell’s Elat, who has been missing . fo- some weeks, was found in the.
