NAPIER. (Before His Honour Mr. Justice Denniston). THIS DAY. RE TRIAL OF ARNOLD Ashworth. The re-trial of Arnold Ashworth on a charge of having assaulted William Brookes at Napier, on June 12th. with intent to rob, was commenced. Mr. H. A. Cornford (Crown ; Prosecutor) conducted the prosecution, and Mr. Dolan appeared for the accused. { The following jury was empanelled:—P. G. bear (foreman). W. : Haines. G. E. Moody, J. A. Holt, W. 1 G. Carter. F. Blunt, T. H. Dawe, J. D. Llyford, R. Currie, H. Brownette, J. W. Chapman and G. Hutton.
