HAYWARD’S PICTURES. NAPIER.

The Empire Theatre, Napier was well patronised last evening, when the vuhtomary change of programme was effected. Eight tilms were screened, the star feature being an intensely interesting dramatic production entitled “ Tho ligers of the Hills.’ ’ KING’S THEATRE, HASTINGS. Thera was a very fair attcnila-um* at the Crvstal Picturtss last evening, and the excellent programme provided «a> heartily applauded. The great ieature drama, “The Naval Spy,” contain a a number of exciting scenes which hold the attention. A naval battle is produced with vivid reality, and the plot contains a pretty love story. Hit* Comrade’s Wife,” a stirring drama by the Edison Company, introduces hehting against African natives. Hie Delaved Sjiecinl ’’ also contains_ a fighting i«‘eno, which takes place in a biK railway office. Comedy abounds W A Rural Demon ” (Keystone) and Bunny’s Mistake” (Vitagraph), while WUcn that is interesting and educational is found in Gaumont’s study. “A Sandstone Quarry.”

PRINCESS THEATRE. HASTINGS

Thrilling excitement is abundant in “Wolves of the Underworld,” by tho Broncho Company, starred on the current programme at the Princess Theatra. The story of a police sergeant s tight against a gang of roughs, there is not a <lull moment during the screening ot the film. The Keystone Company a latest i-omedy, “ Cruel, ( rtiel is something exceptionally brilliant. Other pictures of merit are “ Ith tho Eves of Love” (Edison drama). Hie Brilbov’s Revenge” (melodramatic COinwlv), Th.' Eugenie Hoy ’’ (Thanhoitsei- comedy), and the Topical Budget. This lull programme will be shown for the last time to-night.
