The conscientious manner in which Mr. Haszard has discharged his duties has earned for him the esteem and goodwill of the community in general, and the news of his pending departure will lie received with mixed feelings —regret at; the loss of an able officer ami ot copgrni ulai ton mt his well-efirned promotion. Mr. Haszard will be. much missed in bowling circles in which he was a prominent figiire, and also in boxing matters i;> which he took a keen interest.

It is probable that. Air. Haszard will ly leaving for Outgo ?-arly in the New Year, but Airs Haszard. ttnc family will’ not lie g'ling seari lev some months. .
