Mr. lliill was stationed in \\ ajpawa for sonic time as manager <>t the local bran--h of the Bank of New South Wales. ‘‘The Dandies” appear at the Theatre on Friday next, and judging by tiie bookings a good house is as sured. The Waipawa Debating Club wind up the season next Tuesday eveningin a debate with a team from Otane. An open golf tournament is to beheld here on Friday and Saturday next, and the number of enliies in dicate a successful function.
