FAULTY FINANCE. WADE MOVES WANT OF CONFIDENCE. [pßEss A.-S*.H - iATI<>N COPYRIGHT . ] < Received 24. 9.35 a.m.) Sydney. July 24. In the Assembly, the Hon. J. H. Cann. New South Males Treasurer, stated that lie proposed asking for a special Bill authorising the raising of £3.000,000 in London for railway duplication and other works. Mr. Wade strongly attacked the Government, principally upon their financial administration. whereto he attributed the present high cost <» living. Regarding vaccination. Mr. Wade leader of the Opposition, condemned the proposal to vaccinate infants onh who could not hit back. In view of the hold smallpox had gained in the city and suburbs the obvious course was tn make vaccination universal and protect the willing against the unwilling. The Government proposal was an exhibition of want <>t courage in dealing with so urgent a matter. He concluded his speech by moving a direct want of confidence. The debate in the House was adjourned until this afternoon. THE WILLIS DOCUMENT. TO BE EXPUNGED. The Premier (Mr. A' . A. Holman) gave notice of motion rescinding the authorisation of the printing of the document tabled by Mr. Willis attacking the Lieutenant-Governor, and that the document be expunged from Die records oi the House. The document had not been read by him when Air. Willis secured the motion for printing it. which the Government supported. Mr. Holman said that after reading it. lie decided to move that it be explinged.
